Yarn dyed fabrics are made using threads that are dyed prior to being woven, resulting in gorgeous multi-dimensional color.

Please note that many fabrics are starched before they are put on a bolt to make the wrapping easier and tidier. Fabric should be expected to soften and develop more drape after washing.
